With the expansion of the railway lines, it became necessary to create living space at the stations due to the lack of mobility of the employees. This was of course in the interest of the railway companies at the time, as the employees were nearby. They were bound by the rent and the lack of other living space.
Our "Dienstwohngebäude" (#0160) for 2 families at Baruth station (line Zossen-Elsterwerda as part of the Berlin-Dresden main line) was built on the basis of existing original plans.
The "Kotten" / stable building was built on the basis of existing original plans. This one amazes by its front.
This looks like a residential house, but is only a few meters deep (the back is windowless and bricked through).

Note:
When assembling the cardboard kit, please use only white glue that does not contain any admixtures such as quartz sand. These automatically lead to unwanted gaps ! For this reason we recommend "Bindan RS". (with which we have gathered the best experience), which you can also order from us.
With the kits you only need very (!) little glue, because we connect flat parts with each other. A light wetting is enough.
Window glass is glued with standard glue. Picture shows design suggestion. Accessories and figures not included in the kit The following applies to all articles: Important note according to EU toy directive:
Attention, not suitable for children under 15 years ! Function-conditioned sharp edges and points. Risk of suffocation due to breakable and swallowable small parts.
